Having worked closely with vulnerable women and girls both in the UK and Africa, I am proud to fundraise for Plan International, an independent development and humanitarian organisation that focuses on critical issues such as education, child protection, gender equality, and climate change.
What particularly stands out is how Plan International works alongside governments and local organisations that enhances a collaborative approach to development. While advocating for policies that prioritise children’s rights, gender equality, and youth well-being, they ensure that solutions are co-designed and driven by local organisations. This approach guarantees that interventions are context-specific, culturally relevant, and sustainable.
